A Tieflader-Sattelauflieger is a semi-trailer with a flat, open load deck and no sides or roof. It carries 20 ft and 40 ft containers (locked with twist locks) as well as steel, building materials and oversized cargo. A Container-Anhänger is the same idea dedicated to ISO containers: a Skelett-Anhänger (also called a container chassis) strips the deck down to a frame, lowering tare weight so more of the legal weight limit goes to payload.
Terminology varies by country and manufacturer. Compare deck layout, container locks, axle count and rated capacity rather than relying on the product name alone.

A flatbed semi trailer has a full flat deck, so it can carry containers as well as steel, machinery and other cargo. A skeleton (container chassis) trailer has a minimal frame with twist locks and carries ISO containers only, which gives it a lower tare weight and more legal payload. Choose flatbed for mixed cargo and skeleton for dedicated container hauling.
Match the deck to your container length. CHENLU 20 ft flatbeds are rated 20-40 tons, and 40 ft and 45 ft flatbeds are rated 30-80 tons. A 40 ft deck carries one 40 ft or two 20 ft containers; a 45 ft deck carries one 40 ft or one 45 ft container.
Axle count follows payload and local axle-load limits. CHENLU builds 2- and 3-axle flatbeds as standard, 4-axle versions as custom builds, and 5-axle flatbeds rated 50-160 tons for heavier cargo.
